Allow me to share with you a magical journey that started with reading "Eragon" by Christopher Paolini. Some time ago, I dove into the pages of this book and found myself transported to a world of dragons, sorcerers and brave heroes. It was a life-changing experience, and in just two weeks I devoured all four volumes of this gripping saga.
But this story does not end here. On a trip to England, I discovered "The Magician's Guild", by Trudi Canavan, and my literary horizons expanded even further. A passion for fantastic literature grew within me, and I felt the need to share with others the magic that lived between the pages of books.
And it turns out that, like any Bookworm, I ran out of space on the shelves to have more books, as soon as I got a Kindle. And it was then that the world of Fantasia expanded.
The amount of books that I had access to, fantastic, exciting, desperate and that completely change our lives, made me want to share this experience with other people so much that I started with a little bug of wanting to create a bookstore dedicated only to the genre of fantastic literature .
This is how the idea of creating Mítica Books came about, a space dedicated exclusively to the fantasy genre. My goal is to provide Portuguese readers with the opportunity to explore magical realms and unravel mysteries alongside unforgettable characters.
At Mítica Books, I believe that fantastic literature is more than a mere escape from reality. It's a journey that allows us to discover new worlds, discover strengths we didn't even know we had and find inspiration to face day-to-day challenges. Books are portals to epic adventures, and I'm committed to sharing those experiences with all those who yearn to get lost in the pages of captivating stories.
