Mítica Books offers various shipping methods which may or may not have an associated cost, depending on the characteristics of the order, such as weight, value and destination region.

Shipping costs are shown when you register an order in the store, in the second step of the shopping cart, taking into account the following characteristics:

• Destination region
• Weight and/or value of the order
• Shipping method chosen
• Choice of VAS (Value Added Services)

The store pick-up option is not available.

Mítica Books ships both in-stock items and items via Dropshipping.

• If your order contains both in-stock items and Dropshipping items, you will have to pay two shipping prices for the two different delivery services.

Shipping Stocked Items

• Shipments via DPD to mainland Portugal and the islands will be shipped within 24-48 hours of receipt of payment. Two options are available: DPD envio para morada and DPD ponto pick up.
• Shipments to European Union are available with two services: DPD shipping and CTT International Postal  
• These shipments are separate from Dropshipping shipping.

Subscriptions and Pre-orders

The shipping costs for pre-order items and subscription packs are the same as in the table above, but are always paid separately.

If there are stock items with pre-order or subscription items in the same order, the shipping costs are always paid separately for these two types of item, as these products are shipped separately from the rest of the items in the store.

In Subscription Articles, only DPD Shipping to Address is available.

 

Sending items without stock - via Dropshipping

Some items are out of stock because they are sent directly from the supplier. These items are marked. Delivery time is between 5-9 working days.

How the order is dispatched

An order will be dispatched taking into account the shipping method chosen by the consumer when registering the order and only after payment has been validated.

The order can be dispatched byDPD or UPS standard.

When the order is dispatched, the consumer will receive an e-mail where they can confirm the tracking code to follow the delivery information.

The estimated delivery time may vary depending on the shipping service contracted or the time provided for in the shipping method description.
