Synopsis

A mysterious circus, with an unpredictable itinerary, appears without any announcement or prior warning. It simply appears. The interior of the striped tents gives way to a mind-blowing show, which captivates the audience with its varied artistic acts: it is Le Cirque des Rêves.

However, behind the scenes, a strange game is being played out between two young magicians, Celia and Marco. Unable to help themselves, Celia and Marco fall passionately in love, but not even this love is capable of putting an end to the game in which everyone involved in the circus is a participant.

Unbeknownst to them, the competition will end when only one of them survives, and so the circus ends up becoming the stage for a fascinating battle of imagination and ambition. Everything is at stake and based on a balance as unstable as that of the courageous acrobats who conduct their acts on a tightrope, high up in the air.

With a lyrical and contagious writing style that appeals to the senses and the heart, this universe of magic and imagination manages to become beautiful, with its black and white stripes, without a trace of gold or red. The Night Circus is a fascinating work that will make the real world seem magical, and the magical world, real.
